The Kurz vor Knapp board game by Zoch Verlag is a dexterity game for 2–4 players aged 8 and up. Players estimate the length of the wooden beams without touching or measuring them, then try to place them between two cylinders without the ends sticking out. They then place cylinders on the beams, with more cylinders allowed as the beam is positioned higher.
On each turn, the other players can challenge for the turn by proposing two cylinders at a higher level on which to place the beam. Each cylinder can support up to two beams. The winner is the first player to place all of their cylinders.
