The construction combines a natural Rosewood wooden frame with Double-Shot PBT keycaps and multiple layers of sound insulation, while the triple connectivity (2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C) with a 1000 Hz Polling Rate ensures zero latency.

Magnetic Switch Technology TMR

The K2 HE features Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Nebula switches, which operate without physical contact. The technology is based on Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) sensors, which detect changes in the magnetic field with sensitivity up to 100 mV/V/Oe. This architecture allows for superior resolution compared to standard Hall Effect sensors. The switch’s Double-Rail structure ensures absolute stem stability, while the factory lubrication (pre-lubed) provides an exceptionally smooth feel. The system is Hot-Swappable, compatible exclusively with Keychron’s magnetic switch series.

Activation Customization & Rapid Trigger

Through the Keychron Launcher Web App, the user has complete control over the behavior of the keys. The Adjustable Actuation Point feature allows you to set the actuation point from 0.2 mm to 3.8 mm with 0.1 mm precision. The keyboard supports Dynamic Rapid Trigger, allowing instant reset of the key with the slightest release, regardless of the total press depth. Additionally, Dynamic Keystrokes (DKS) technology enables you to assign up to 4 different actions to a single key, depending on the depth of the press (e.g., a light press for walking, a deep press for running).

Special Wood Edition Shell & Acoustics

The Special Wood edition features a natural Rosewood frame in a black shade, combined with an aluminum plate for maximum structural rigidity. The system offers advanced sound insulation with three distinct materials: EVA 3.5 mm foam, EPDM foam, and a special silicone pad at the bottom. This combination eliminates vibrations and provides a deep, 'thocky' acoustic profile. The keycaps are made from highly durable Double-Shot PBT in an OSA profile, resistant to wear and shine from long-term use, while the new Screw-in Stabilizers have reinforced walls for stability on larger keys.

Processing Power & Triple Connectivity

The K2 HE is powered by a powerful microcontroller (MCU) based on ARM architecture with 256K Flash memory, which manages the open-source QMK firmware. The device offers three connection modes: Wired via USB Type-C, wireless via 2.4 GHz with a dedicated receiver for low-latency gaming, and via Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting up to 3 devices.
