The Keychron K2 HE features Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic switches, which eliminate physical contacts in favor of Hall Effect magnetic sensors. This architecture offers unparalleled stability and smoothness while typing, and allows full control over the actuation point. The user can adjust the actuation depth of each key individually, within a range from 0.2 mm to 3.8 mm with 0.1 mm sensitivity accuracy. The double-rail structure minimizes stem wobble, ensuring consistency with every keystroke, while the pre-lubed switches drastically reduce friction, providing a linear feel and increased hardware longevity.
Change your gaming experience forever with the Keychron K2 HE, a fully customizable wireless keyboard with a 75% layout. It features magnetic switches that use sensors to measure actuation depth, offering complete control over each switch's response.
Standard Version
The Standard Version features Cherry profile double-shot shine through PBT keycaps and aluminum frames.
Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Switches
The Keychron K2 HE includes Gateron double-rail magnetic switches for ultra-fast response time and precise control. The magnetic switches use hall effect sensors to detect keystrokes, allowing you to set actuation with 0.1-millimeter precision.
Adjustable Actuation Point
Customize actuation points from 0.2 to 3.8 millimeters, prioritizing shallow keys for instant actions and deeper ones for deliberate engagement.
Last Key Priority (LKP) & Snap Click
LKP allows for smooth directional changes, while Snap Click prioritizes deeper keys during simultaneous presses.
Dynamic Rapid Trigger
Activate or deactivate keys based on the distance they travel, allowing for instant key reactions.
One Key. Multiple Actions
Thanks to Dynamic Keystrokes (DKS), you can assign up to 4 different actions per key based on press depth.
Analog Mode
The Analog Mode allows for variable inputs, providing fluid and dynamic control in your gameplay.
Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Switches & Hall Effect
Rapid Trigger & Dynamic Keystrokes (DKS)
The Rapid Trigger technology dynamically adjusts the actuation and reset point based on the movement of the switch rather than a fixed point. This allows for instant reactivation of the key with the slightest lift of the finger, making it ideal for high-demand gaming (e.g., strafing in FPS games). At the same time, the Dynamic Keystrokes (DKS) feature allows you to assign up to 4 different actions to a single key, depending on the depth of the press (light press, deep press, release). Additionally, the analog function (Analog Mode) simulates the progressive input of a joystick, enabling variable movement control in racing games and simulators, with precise detection of pressure force.
Last Keystroke Priority (LKP) & Snap Click
The K2 HE supports advanced SOCD (Simultaneous Opposite Cardinal Directions) functions through Last Keystroke Priority (LKP). This feature gives priority to the last directional command without requiring the release of the previous key, allowing for instant direction changes in competitive games such as Valorant or CS2. Additionally, the Snap Click feature optimizes the management of simultaneous key presses by prioritizing the keys pressed deeper and automatically resetting the shallower ones. These functions are fully customizable via the Keychron Web Launcher, allowing the user to enable them as desired for specialized usage scenarios.
Triple Connectivity & High-Performance MCU
The device supports three connection methods: wired via USB Type-C, wireless 2.4 GHz, and Bluetooth 5.2. The 2.4 GHz connection offers a polling rate of 1000 Hz, ensuring e-sports level response time. The unit features a powerful microcontroller (MCU) with 256K Flash memory, which manages the data from the magnetic sensors and the RGB lighting without delays. Via Bluetooth, the keyboard can connect simultaneously to up to 3 devices, with instant switching for multitasking between PC, tablet, and smartphone. Compatibility is universal, with a dedicated switch for toggling between macOS and Windows layouts.
Premium Construction & Acoustic Design
The chassis of the K2 HE combines an aluminum frame with a multi-layer internal structure for optimal acoustics. It includes a 3.5 mm thick EVA acoustic foam, EPDM foam, and a silicone pad at the bottom, which eliminate unwanted noises and case echo. The keycaps are made from Double-shot PBT (Cherry profile in the Standard version), with semi-transparent (shine-through) legends that highlight the South-facing RGB lighting. The stabilizers are screw-in and redesigned with reinforced side walls, offering absolute stability for large keys (Spacebar, Shift, Enter) and eliminating 'wobble'.
