The Fantasy Flight board game Kingsburg is a fantasy game for 2–5 players aged 10 and up. Players take command of frontier provinces, influence the king’s advisors to gather resources and soldiers, and develop their territories while defending them from monster invasions.
The game lasts five years, with four rounds per year. During the three production seasons of each year, players collect resources, build structures, and train troops by placing influence dice on members of the King’s Council. In the fourth round, winter, each player faces an invading army. The winner is the player who has developed their province best and earned the king’s favor.
