The Piezo magnet under the maple bridge reliably captures every detail of your playing style, whether through headphones or an amplifier. At the back of the instrument, there are 3.5 mm jack and mini-jack 3.5 mm outputs for headphones, as well as a 3.5 mm microphone input. The preamp features volume and tone controls.

The battery compartment for the preamp requires a PP3 (square) 9v battery to operate.
