The top side features clipped fabric while the bottom side is made of pre-washed microfiber fabric.

Microfiber – what does this mean?

Microfibers are very fine artificially created fibers, usually made from polyester or polyamide. When compared to silk fiber, they are 2 times finer, 3 times finer than cotton fiber, 8 times finer than wool, and 100 times finer than human hair. Products made from microfibers are incredibly soft to the touch and very lightweight. The fabrics also have a wonderful drape.

Microfibers are smaller than 1.0 denier.

What does this mean for a duvet?

It is very lightweight like a feather, soft, which allows it to hug the body. In the summer months, it provides coolness and comfort as it allows the skin to breathe and keeps it dry and cool, while in winter, it acts as a very good insulator and is soft without giving a feeling of coolness or chill. It is easy to use as it can be machine washed.
