Description

SPEED STARTS WITH THE MGX HYPERDRIVE

The MGX Hyperdrive magnetic switches use Hall Effect sensors for the fastest input activation that science has to offer. The dual rail structure ensures that every key press does not wobble, while the extended lifespan of 150 million presses guarantees long-term integrity. Pre-lubricated for high-quality acoustics, the MGX Hyperdrive switches are a formidable combination of satisfaction and performance.

FAST TRIGGER

Rapid Trigger activates and resets the keys instantly, so you can always press consecutive keys. Learning skillful moves becomes effortless with Rapid Trigger.

CREATE INSTANT COMBINATIONS

Assign two distinct actions to a single keystroke for instant one-two combos, such as casting two different spells with a single move in MOBA games.

Adjustable Activations

Adjust the actuation distance of each key from an ultra-sensitive value of 0.1 mm up to a depth of 4 mm, in 0.1 mm increments.

*For optimal accuracy, the recommended range is 0.3 mm–3.6 mm. Setting the actuation outside the recommended range may result in higher sensitivity and affect consistency.

FlashTap TECHNOLOGY

When two opposite movement keys are pressed, you can use FlashTap to prioritize the first, the last, or neither of the two inputs. Easily perfect your competitive dodging moves, such as counter-strafing or jiggle peeking, with optimized SOCD behavior.*

  • Disabled by default
  • Enable via shortcut: FN + Right Shift
  • Default settings when enabled: A + D keys and last input priority

ACT FAST WITH AXON

The key is to transfer every action and reaction from your fingertip to the game as quickly as possible. When you play with AXON, the delay from your keyboard accounts for < 1% of any command latency.

With 8,000Hz hyper-polling, AXON registers input signals up to 8 times faster than most other gaming keyboards.

SPEED IS FOCUSED

Optimize your settings for competitive gaming with a single button. In game mode, Rapid Trigger dynamically responds to key presses with fluid actuation points. Activate the Win lock key. The RGB lighting becomes static. And your keyboard responds with a customized hyper-polling rate. Game mode = battle readiness.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL ROTARY SWITCH

With the K70 PRO TKL, you have full control over audio and multimedia. Pause your music, mute your game, or increase the volume during epic moments.

DIFFERENTLY BUILT

The K70 PRO TKL offers even more than meets the eye or ear. Two layers of high-quality silicone sound insulation, as well as pre-lubricated stabilizers, reduce unwanted ping and rattling for a more satisfying, smoother typing experience.

1. MGX Hyperdrive & MLX Plasma switches with pre-lubricated stabilizers

2. Aluminum top plate

3. Sound-insulating layer #14PCB

5. Sound-insulating layer #2

6. Bottom tray

  • Guys, I'm not a gamer, I use the keyboard as a work tool. I like the feel of mechanical keyboards and at the same time the gaming aesthetic, so I bought it.
    Now for the review:

Typing: Extremely sensitive keys, with a soft sound during use, it gives the mechanical feeling I like without tiring the ears with an annoying sound. Its way is almost addictive.

Build quality: The company has outdone itself. Spring keys, plastics refer to a premium aesthetic much more expensive.

VFM: I found it on offer from Plaisio at €110, honestly I regretted not getting two.

Very high-quality keyboard, it is truly so perfect to type with! And in terms of price compared to what it offers, it is way ahead! Anyone considering it, really don't even think about it, just get it, it's worth every last euro you spend

Very good feeling keyboard with solid smooth feel, nice and not loud sound.
Not all switches are hall effect (to my knowledge the F1-12 row, arrows and the block above them is normal switches), hotswap doesn't officially support Gateron HE switches and there's no official switches for sale. Also volume knob is quite wobbly, doesn't feel very solid.
I never tried iCUE (and don't think I will), but there are plenty of settings available even from the keyboard itself through different button combinations.

I bought the keyboard off-platform for €140 and to be honest, it's nice and the 8k or the hall effect magnetic switches are great, but it's still a lot of money. On the other hand, there aren't many options; the Wooting is very expensive and if you don't want a 60% layout, you have to wait for the 85% with a pre-order, so just from a availability standpoint, it's worth it.

The switches do have a nice feel and they don't have that annoying noise that cheaper mechanical keyboards usually have, the sound of springs inside the switches when the key returns upwards. The K70 Core full size did that too, but in this version which is the V2, I haven't heard anything yet.

I would suggest going for the K70 Core TKL with the red switches if you're not that interested in the gimmicks with the magnetic switches and high polling rate. It has almost the same feel without all the extras and costs around €80 (on sale)
