The Matagot Pan t'es Mort board game is a strategy game with two phases and simultaneous card selection. In the first phase, players compare cards numbered from 1 to 6: ties are eliminated, and the higher card wins, except when 1 and 6 are compared, in which case 1 wins. Players keep the cards from the rounds they win for the second phase, which is based on luck.
In the second phase, players draw cards from a set of six: five marked “Clic” and one with a bullet. On their turn, each player can draw a card, discard one of the cards they have collected to shuffle the face-up cards and draw again, or discard as many cards as there are players still in the game to pass their turn. They can also reveal two cards in a row; if they survive, they steal cards from other players. The last player remaining in the game wins.
