It is made from 600D polyester, with internal reinforcements at the shoulders and elbows. The Alpinestars Nucleon Flex Plus shoulder and elbow protectors are CE Level 1 certified to EN 1621-1:2012, while the jacket is Class A certified to EN 17092.

Zipped vents on the sides of the torso regulate airflow, while the pre-curved sleeve construction supports the riding position. The fit is adjustable at the waist and cuffs, and the collar has a soft lining. It features two front zippered pockets and two lined inner pockets. The jacket-to-trouser connection zipper and extended back help provide coverage while riding.
