  • A grumpy and contrary rich man, Scrooge, hates Christmas... One Christmas Eve he returns home and three spirits visit him. They take him to the "before," the "now," and the "after," trying to make him see sense before it's too late...
The classic Christmas tale with Scrooge and the spirits of Christmas... This time in a more concise and simple edition, suitable for young children!
What makes it stand out from similar children's books are the wonderful fold-out images, a pleasant surprise for young readers.
At first, we read "New Year's Eve" and "The Divine Birth," and my little ones were thrilled... So I decided to get them "A Christmas Carol" as well...
It is exactly in the same style, but with regular text and not rhymes, as the other two books were... Besides, in my opinion, it is for older children and not from three years old...
However, there were parts that seemed strange to them... They kept asking me what spirits and cemeteries are, words they had never heard before... I think the third spirit even scared them a little...
And to tell the truth, when I was little myself, I didn't like Scrooge's story because it made me feel fear and melancholy. But I decided to get my kids this more modern edition and give it another chance.
Through this book, I taught my children how valuable love is towards ourselves, but also towards the people around us. Especially at Christmas, which is the great celebration of love, we must help our fellow humans... Not only with material goods, but also with words and actions.
The cover is extremely festive, colorful and cheerful, with red metallic details that give it extra shine and luxury!
The illustrations inside the book are colorful, pleasant and apt, following the flow of the texts.
The thick paper on the cover, as well as on the inside pages, makes it suitable for small independent hands.
It is an original, colorful, interactive Christmas book, suitable as a gift. It will surely excite both young and older readers!
