The water heater valve is used in all types of water heaters (solar and electric) with the main goal of protecting them.

When the pressure inside the water heater exceeds a certain level, it automatically opens. The main reasons the valve may open are:

• High network pressure
• Overheating of the water

The water heater valve is always installed at the cold water inlet and aims to:

• Control the incoming pressure of cold water into the electric or solar water heater
• Prevent the backflow of hot water contained in the boiler towards the cold water pipe.
