Sturdy base, but it didn't work for my 32" Samsung, as it needed brackets.... something it doesn't have. In the end, to avoid returning it, I applied it to a 27" LG. There, we encountered another unpleasant surprise, as the screws that secured the base behind the television were too long. We struggled a lot to find shorter ones than the ones we already had..... half a day of hassle....
