The Traveler's Notebook is available in an impressive variety of vibrant colors – each one includes two internal books, beautifully presented with our gold shiny logo on the cover. It is complemented by excellent British-made paper, carefully selected for use with fountain pens, ensuring minimal ‘feathering’, being relatively opaque with minimal translucency. This premium quality paper is equally ideal for pencil drawing as it is for writing, thanks to its thick ‘toothy’ surface.
Each notebook features durable Spanish bovine leather, which has been vegetable-tanned, hand-dyed, cut, and polished here in Stamford, for a stunningly beautiful appearance every time. Leather ribbons complete the look by providing a striking closure on the embossed leather button on the front cover. Each Traveler's Notebook comes in a beautiful, practical handmade canvas bag with a drawstring.
All bags are made in Stamford. All Stamford Notebooks are handmade, in the workshop in Stamford, by true artisans using techniques that date back centuries and modern-day equipment – applying all aspects of production, including paper printing, folding, stitching, cutting, and placing the case. This also extends to leather products, where we cut, dye, sew, and finish all our leather goods by hand.
