  • Water-soluble: POSCA ink is "water-soluble" and can be diluted to create a gradient effect.
  • Color mixing: The colors can be mixed on the working surface by blending with the tip or using a brush.
  • Ideal for layering: Thick and opaque, POSCA ink allows dark colors to be applied over light ones and vice versa.
  • Blowing technique: The "blowing" technique creates the gradient effect observed in street art.
  • Prepare the marker: Shake the marker vigorously with the cap on to mix the ink.
  • Test the marker: Press the tip onto a scrap piece of paper to fill it with ink.
  • Nib cleaning: Clean the marker nib with water as often as needed.
  • Nib replacement: If the nib becomes unusable, it can be flipped over for use.
  • Storage conditions: POSCA markers should be stored properly with the cap replaced after use.
