Let me start with the most important reason why most people will prefer them over the competition: yes, they are indeed warmer than other similar gloves so I believe the thermal reflection technology really works, but with one very important condition: there must be no wind at all because the gloves are completely permeable to air, so the heat reflection is useless when cold air passes through the glove!
I compared them with two other different pairs of gloves I own, which more or less have the same fabric thickness, similar weight, etc., and indeed these ones keep your hands slightly warmer, but only as long as there is no wind!
The touchscreen surfaces on the fingers work perfectly and instantly.
And here the positives end.
The fit is bad even though it is exactly my size and almost snug around the hand, the length is perfect without loose ends or being too small and needing to be constantly pulled to stay on, but the fabric on the fingers is way too much, the inner seams are huge, there is no elasticity at all to "hug" the fingers even a little snugly, and consequently, the tactile feel is reminiscent of a motorcycle glove and not a light everyday glove, it's kind of like wearing workout pants two sizes too big on your fingers instead of a snug legging.
Only if someone has frankfurter sausages instead of fingers will this glove fit snugly.
The fabric does seem durable, but it is slippery as if made of ABS plastic, the friction is nothing like you get with other, much cheaper gloves, and especially, for example, when driving, it probably even becomes a bit dangerous to wear them.
The fabric may have no elasticity at all but at least it is indeed breathable and I don't think anyone will have a problem with sweaty hands, etc., since even the slightest breeze passes through the glove, so in winter with a lot of cold, if there is even the lightest wind, forget about warm hands, these gloves are completely useless as your hands will have the same temperature as the freezing air outside! These gloves are only good for fooling those around you that you spent 20+ euros on branded gloves while in reality Columbia stole 20+ euros from you by selling you snake oil, unless you want them for spring or summer, then OK.
Also, they are not waterproof at all, I don't count this as a negative because the manufacturer doesn't advertise them as such, I just mention it as information.
The new technology is good, but the rest of the glove isn't worth even five euros from a street market.
The glove isn't even suitable as a gift with a magazine.

Ας ξεκινήσω απο το σημαντικότερο για το οποίο θα τα προτιμήσουν οι περισσότεροι σε σχέση με τον ανταγωνισμό, ναι είναι όντως πιο ζεστά απο άλλα αντίστοιχα γάντια οπότε θεωρώ πως η τεχνολογία με την θερμική αντανάκλαση όντως κάνει δουλειά, αλλά με μια πολύ σημαντική προϋπόθεση: να μην φυσάει καθόλου γιατί τα γάντια είναι εντελώς διαπερατά απο τον αέρα, οπότε η ανάκλαση της θερμότητας πάει περίπατο όταν μέσα απο το γάντι περνάει παγωμένος αέρας!
Τα σύγκρινα με άλλα δύο διαφορετικά ζευγάρια γάντια που έχω, που λίγο πολύ έχουν το ίδιο πάχος στο ύφασμα, παρόμοιο βάρος κτλ και όντως τα συγκεκριμένα κρατάνε τα χέρια ελαφρώς πιο ζεστά, αλλά μόνο και εφόσον δεν φυσάει!
Η επιφάνειες των δακτύλων για οθόνες αφής λειτουργούν τέλεια και άμεσα.
Και εδώ τελειώνουν τα θετικά.
Η εφαρμογή είναι κακή παρόλο που είναι ακριβώς το νούμερό μου και στο χέρι περιμετρικά είναι σχεδόν εφαρμοστό, στο μήκος είναι τέλειο χωρίς να έχει χαλαρές άκρες ή να είναι μικρό και να πρέπει να το τραβάω συνεχώς για να μείνει στο χέρι, το ύφασμα όμως στα δάχτυλα είναι υπερβολικά πολύ, οι εσωτερικές ραφές τεράστιες, δεν έχει καθόλου ελαστικότητα ώστε να "αγκαλιάζει" τα δάχτυλα έστω λίγο εφαρμοστά, και συνεπώς από αίσθηση αφής θυμίζει γάντι μηχανής και όχι ελαφρύ καθημερινό γάντι, είναι κάπως σαν να φοράτε φόρμα γυμναστικής 2 νούμερα μεγαλύτερο από το κανονικό στα δάχτυλα αντί για εφαρμοστό κολάν.
Μόνο αν έχει κάποιος λουκάνικα Φρανκφούρτης αντί για δάχτυλα, θα του είναι εφαρμοστό το συγκεκριμένο γάντι.
Το ύφασμα φαίνεται ανθεκτικό μεν, αλλά γλιστράει λές και είναι φτιαγμένο απο πλαστικό ABS, δεν έχει καμία σχέση η τριβή που έχεις με άλλα γάντια, πολύ φτηνότερα, με αυτό, ειδικά π.χ. στην οδήγηση μάλλον γίνεται και λίγο επικίνδυνο να τα φοράς.
Το ύφασμα μπορεί να μην έχει καθόλου ελαστικότητα αλλά τουλάχιστον είναι όντως διαπνέον και δε νομίζω να αντιμετωπίσει κανείς πρόβλημα με ιδρωμένα χέρια κτλ, αφού και η μικρότερη ριπή ανέμου περνάει μέσα στο γάντι, οπότε τον χειμώνα με τα πολλά κρύα αν φυσάει έστω και το ελαφρύτερο αεράκι ξεχάστε τα ζεστά χέρια, τα συγκεκριμένα γάντια είναι εντελώς άχρηστα καθώς ότι θερμοκρασία έχει ο παγωμένος αέρας έξω, ίδια θερμοκρασία θα έχουν και τα χέρια σας! Τα γάντια αυτά κάνουν μόνο για να ξεγελάτε τους γύρω σας ότι δώσατε 20+ ευρώ για επώνυμα γάντια ενώ στην πραγματικότητα η Columbia σας έκλεψε 20+ ευρώ πουλώντας σας φύκια για μεταξωτές κορδέλες, εκτός και αν το θέλετε για άνοιξη ή καλοκαίρι οπότε ΟΚ.
Επίσης δεν είναι καθόλου αδιάβροχα, δεν το καταλογίζω στα μείον γιατί ούτε ο κατασκευαστής τα διαφημίζει έτσι, απλά το αναφέρω σαν πληροφορία.
Καλή η νέα τεχνολογία μεν, αλλά το υπόλοιπο γάντι δεν αξίζει ούτε πεντάευρο απο λαϊκή.
