Truly, it is one of the most original children's book titles I have ever read. It immediately captures the children's interest, even before we open the book!
After all, the title was the reason I initially opened this particular book. But as soon as I read the story, I truly loved it!
Such a wonderful book deserves an equally wonderful and, to me, romantic cover! In the deep blue of the night, a little boy appears, covering the full moon with a long blue sheet. This way, he creates a beautiful crescent moon!
Although I prefer bright books with clear illustrations, this book is one of my favorites. Its illustrations are different from the usual ones. They are simply amazing! However, I understand why they are dark. Each page transports us to nighttime landscapes that match the appearance of the moon and therefore the story!

Πραγματικά, είναι από τους πιο πρωτότυπους τίτλους παιδικών βιβλίων που έχω διαβάσει. Κερδίζει αμέσως το ενδιαφέρον των παιδιών, χωρίς καν να ανοίξουμε το βιβλίο!
Άλλωστε, ο τίτλος ήταν ο λόγος που με έκανε αρχικά να ανοίξω το συγκεκριμένο βιβλίο. Μόλις όμως διάβασα την ιστορία, πραγματικά το λάτρεψα!
Σε ένα τέτοιο υπέροχο βιβλίο, ταιριάζει ένα εξίσου υπέροχο και για εμένα ρομαντικό εξώφυλλο! Μέσα στο βαθύ μπλε της νύχτας ξεπροβάλλει ένα μικρό αγόρι που σκεπάζει με ένα μακρύ μπλε σεντόνι το ολόγιομο φεγγάρι. Έτσι δημιουργεί ένα υπέροχο μισοφέγγαρο!
Αν και προτιμώ τα φωτεινά βιβλία με ξεκάθαρα σκίτσα, αυτό το βιβλίο είναι από τα αγαπημένα μου. Τα σκίτσα του είναι διαφορετικά από τα συνηθισμένα. Είναι απλά καταπληκτικά! Καταλαβαίνω όμως τον λόγο που είναι σκοτεινά. Κάθε σελίδα, μας μεταφέρει σε νυχτερινά τοπία, που ταιριάζουν με την εμφάνιση του φεγγαριού κι επομένως με την ιστορία!
Είναι το κατάλληλο παραμύθι για να χαλαρώσουν τα παιδάκια λίγο πριν τον ύπνο... Εμείς, κάθε φορά που το διαβάζουμε, αμέσως μετά τραγουδάμε το γνωστό παιδικό τραγουδάκι: Φεγγαράκι μου λαμπρό, φέγγε μου να περπατώ! Τα παιδάκια μου τώρα πια πιστεύουν ότι πραγματικά υπάρχει Φεγγαροσκεπαστής!
Είναι ένα πολύ γλυκό, τρυφερό και πρωτότυπο διδακτικό παιδικό βιβλίο, που μας μεταφέρει σε έναν άλλο μαγικό και ονειρικό κόσμο!
Εκτός όμως από τον ρομαντισμό και την τρυφερότητα, αυτό το βιβλίο διδάσκει στα παιδάκια μας την δύναμη της αγάπης, της συνεργασίας, της συμπαράστασης και της φιλίας!
Μακάρι όλοι να έχουμε δίπλα μας τόσο καλούς φίλους, όπως ο Τιμολέων!
Κι επειδή είμαι αθεράπευτα ρομαντική, από τότε που διάβασα αυτό το βιβλίο, κάθε φορά που κοιτάζω το φεγγαράκι, σκέφτομαι το μικρό αγόρι και το μοναδικό επάγγελμά του!
