The handbook is a remedial course in Russian phonetics and is intended for work with native speakers of different languages at the beginner and intermediate stages of training. The purpose of the handbook is to minimize students' pronunciation at the level of sounds, word rhythm, and intonation. The author offers a system of exercises that allows achieving this goal. A special part of the handbook is dedicated to Russian proverbs and expressions (over 100), which not only convey regional information but also allow for better assimilation of the rules of Russian pronunciation. The course also includes phonetic transcriptions that help simplify the perception of Russian speech.
