Application - grinding of common steels, sharpening of steel and HSS tools. 25A - reddish chrome corundum with a content of 0.25% Cr2O3. Although this grain is less brittle, it is somewhat harder compared to 38A. Excellent for sharpening HSS tools, for machining stainless steel and vanadium steel.
