Italeri: 1:72 CR.32 "Chirri" (Historic Upgrade)

The Fiat CR.32 is an Italian metal biplane fighter. Its prototype flight took place in April 1933. A year later, the plane entered service. The power unit was a Fiat A30 RA-bis V12 600HP engine. From 1934 to 1939, it was the most common fighter in the Regia Aeronautica.

The Fiat CR.32 earned a reputation as a compact and easy-to-handle machine and proved perfect during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), where it was one of the principal aircraft of General Franco's troops. One of the best pilots of this war - Joaquin Garcia Morato y Castano - flew it and achieved up to 36 aerial victories.

Subsequently, the plane was exported to many countries, including Austria, China, Paraguay, and Hungary. Unfortunately, at the outbreak of World War II, the FIAT CR.32 was outpaced by modern British, French, or German designs.
