I have about 26 of these so I think my opinion is valid. They are very good gadgets that have made my life easier. I have only 2 negatives: first, there isn’t as much programmability as I would like, there are specific options (for example, I want to set it so that when the consumption drops below a certain number of watts, the device turns off, something that can be done with the Tuya app but not with TP-Link), and second, the WiFi antennas they have are terrible. They need a very strong signal to work properly and sometimes, if the WiFi is dual band, they can’t even detect it. They are worth it for ease of use at home, but for mass use like I do with pools and lights, maybe another brand is needed that has more options in the app.

Very reliable, I don't have much knowledge on the subject but it is very easy to install and has many functions within the app, it also connects easily with home assistant for those interested.

I got the socket for a specific use. I want to have a fan running at specific hours of the day. As soon as you connect it to the network, it works normally from the physical on/off button and from the app. As soon as you set up the schedule for the day or days, it works fine for 3 days and then disconnects from the network and you can't turn it off either from the app. It's not a network issue, I also have two cameras of the same brand and they work perfectly even though one is much further from the router than the socket and the other is on another floor. Maybe I'll get another one to see if it was a coincidence.

It connects easily but also loses its connection to the network just as easily. Many times I have to reset them to reconnect, and then they lose the stored energy consumption data. It is manageable only through the Tapo app. If you want to view it directly from other apps as well, get the 110M model. It doesn't inspire confidence that it will last long. If it lasts 3 years, that will be good.

Very good smart plug, I use it on a fan after some time, to turn off at night so it doesn't run all night. It does its job very well and effectively. I recommend it.

It is a cheap socket, everything is fine, but it does not have local control, only through the app. I tried to install it in Home Assistant (since I had installed HACS), but I failed. My mistake. I will prefer a shelly next time, because I don't like giving internet access to IOT devices.
edit: it connected normally to HA, it was being blocked by a firewall rule of the openwrt router.

It needs proper configuration because it asks you how many cents per kWh and if it is fixed.
