The smell of plastic is very strong even after a good wash and several uses. I made the mistake of not keeping the packaging intact, otherwise I would have returned it immediately.

Excellent sandwich maker, sturdy, beautiful, very good grilling. It has an operation indicator on the screen as well as an indicator for when the heating elements are on. The plates are removed simply by pressing a button, and they are also incredibly non-stick. Melted cheese comes off very easily with a little paper towel.

For toast bread on medium, in exactly 3'-4' the toast is ready, the cheese melted. For bakery bread (thicker) in 4'-5' it's ready on medium.

The times are very good. If you want the bread a bit crispier, between medium and high it toasts better.

I honestly wonder about a comment I read that said it requires patience and doesn't toast evenly due to the plates' tilt. They must have tried a different sandwich maker...

It gives you the option to adjust the height in 5 preset levels but at the same time it self-adjusts the height depending on the thickness. Buy it with your eyes closed, you'll wonder how bad your previous sandwich makers were.

Excellent. It's worth its money and more. It is a bit unnecessarily heavy and makes storage difficult. Other than that, you can buy it with your eyes closed.

I regretted this purchase and if I could I would return it.. It does not grill evenly as the plates, when the sandwich maker closes, create a slope, which I did not want...
However, it grills quickly on the high setting, but you have to be careful because it can burn them just as quickly. The middle setting is for patience, it takes quite a while but it doesn't burn them.
