We usually use it for drying clothes (even in this mode it doesn't make much noise). For the power it has, its noise is not at a level that bothers you. Also, I would have liked the materials used for its construction to be harder, like the old dehumidifiers. Of course, we are now in the age of ecology, so it's all good. Its bin requires a bit of effort to align everything to put it in place, but it's still worth buying.
