Chilodonella is a protozoan parasite that attaches to the scales and gills of fish.
Symptoms:
- Rubbing against decorations
- Breathing difficulty
- Staying at the surface
- Excessive mucus secretion
The parasite usually attaches behind the head and along the fish's backbone, causing it to lose its color and develop a whitish pigmentation as the disease progresses.
Use H7 immediately upon identifying the symptoms. Remove the carbon during treatment and place an air pump in your aquarium. A blue/green tint in the water may be observed, which is normal.
Do not turn on the aquarium light during the treatment.
Increase the temperature in your aquarium to 28-30 degrees Celsius.
Important: Crustaceans and invertebrates cannot tolerate this product.
Dosage: 1ml/25lt
On the 1st and 3rd day, administer the recommended amount according to your tank's volume. On the 4th day, change 20% of the water, adding dechlorinator and bacteria.
If the infection persists, repeat the dosage on days 5 and 7. On the 10th day, change 30% of the aquarium water.
Restore active carbon in your aquarium and return the temperature to previous levels. Avoid overdosing and do not combine with other treatments.
