It has been 20 years since Charles Darwin's expedition around the world. The naturalist is now writing a book titled "On the Origin of Species" and wants to collect new data on animal life, especially those found in areas where he has not conducted research, such as North America, Asia, and parts of Africa. He is no longer young and dedicates a lot of time to writing and taking care of his family. Therefore, he assigns this mission to researchers recommended by the Royal Society of London.

What's it about?
During the game, participants take turns alternately, each consisting of 2 steps:
- Studying an animal or being inspired by the work of a figure, during which the naturalist chooses 1 of 3 tiles from the column or row with the Beagle figure next to it and places it in their notebook.
- Traveling on the Beagle, i.e., moving the figure by the appropriate number of spaces according to the tile chosen in the previous move.
Each of the tiles available on the board provides a bonus: sometimes it is a fixed number of points, other times it is elements that will earn points depending on how many of them we have. The interacting elements are the heart of the whole game, and skillful use of them will bring us closer to victory. We also receive bonuses for completing rows and columns, as well as theory tokens, which we can acquire during the game.
The game ends when each player places exactly 12 tiles in their notebook. The winner is the person who accumulates the most points after considering all the bonuses.
