First of all, for those calling about performance, don't expect crazy flagship-level performance...
Processor: This phone is not for hardcore gaming, yes it has 16GB RAM but the tensors are still behind... I ran PUBG at max settings up to ultra fps, there was no fps drop, it played well, it didn't overheat, it seems they have improved it from the previous generation... it also played Warzone well, not at max settings, but I expected throttling which did not happen... the processor handles everything for an average user... in benchmarks you don't see the numbers you expect, it's just that in this category it's far behind the competition... if you want crazy performance, simply don't get this device, it's as simple as that, you make a sacrifice here which I consider the biggest negative of the device.
Camera: All the cameras are amazing, no complaints, I think it's the main selling point anyway. Anyone coming from another brand will definitely notice a difference, those coming from a previous Pixel generation won't notice as much. There are plenty of settings to play with and control, but it takes about 1-2 seconds after taking a photo to preview it as it processes it via AI to improve its quality. The magic editor is very good, although I don't think many will use it except for a few special photos or to troll a friend, which is fun to play with... Night shots are also quite good, maintaining resolution quality, but in the morning it works wonders... up to 10x ZOOM very good quality, the more you zoom the more quality you lose.
Video: Here you'll see a difference, I think Google has done a very good job, even up to 8K with upload, which is slow but nice to have...
Stock Android as we know it, without unnecessary stuff and apps, a very nice experience in daily use without lags, and the user experience is the best in my personal opinion... as for AI, I can't comment because I don't use them much in my day except for Gemini, which is very fast in responses and most of the time you'll get the answer you expect. To use Google screenshot, you need to set the phone language to English or a supported one, which I consider a negative...
Charging: 27watt, I expected worse, but in half an hour it gets to 50-60%... for full charge, over an hour, I use it with Google's 30 watt brick.
Wireless charging exists, but you should note that to get 21watt you need the Google stand, I think all others will give you less power, I checked it, previous generation qi up to 12watt, anything else you use that's what you'll get... it also has reverse charging, but behind the competition...
Generally, it will last you the day, you'll charge it at night with normal use with about 20% left, with adaptive charging active, which I charge up to 80%.
If you push it, you'll almost certainly need to plug it in.
Calls: everything is fine, nothing special to mention, I have no issues, 5G in my area is not a problem.
Screen: very good response, clear colors, up to 3000 nits, I think at peak brightness you won't have any issues in the sun, I haven't faced this problem at all... 120hz as expected... good streaming for videos, etc... Its haptics are very good.
Design: amazing work from Google, I think if there’s something I liked and excited me more than I expected, it’s the design and build quality – it feels very much like an iPhone. Many times, if someone doesn’t see the back, they could mistake it for an Apple device.
Lastly, I should mention that it was purchased for around €700 with tax deduction. For that money, it’s just right. I think if you’re looking at €1000+, you should consider something else. For the money and the use I make, it’s just right – I’m satisfied so far!
Update: To activate 5G and WiFi calling on the Cosmote network, you need to insert the SIM into a device that supports 5G in Europe and send a simple SMS to 1333 writing 5G. Then, just put the SIM back in the device and after some time it will work normally.
