The Q1 HE incorporates the innovative Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Purple magnetic switches, which eliminate the physical contacts of traditional mechanical switches in favor of magnetic detection. The dual-rail structure ensures absolute stability of the stem, while the specially designed TMR (Tunneling Magnetoresistance) sensors detect changes in the magnetic field with exceptional accuracy. This technology allows for sensitivity of 0.1 mm and durability for millions of keystrokes due to reduced friction. The sensors provide high-resolution detection of distance and magnetic field (up to 100 mV/V/Oe), eliminating latency and offering a linear, smooth feel without the effect of debounce delay.
The Keychron Q1 HE introduces Hall Effect technology in the 75% format. Equipped with magnetic Gateron Double-Rail switches and advanced TMR sensors, it offers an adjustable actuation point from 0.2mm to 3.8mm and a Rapid Trigger function for instant response. It features a 6063 aluminum chassis, 2.4GHz connection with 1000Hz polling rate, QMK support, and Double-Gasket architecture for a top-tier typing experience.
Hall Effect Architecture & TMR Sensors
Rapid Trigger & Dynamic Actuation Function
The magnetic sensing technology allows full customization of the actuation point for each key individually, within a range from 0.2 mm to 3.8 mm, with precision steps of 0.1 mm. The system supports the Dynamic Rapid Trigger function, where the activation and deactivation of the key do not depend on a fixed point, but on the distance of the finger's movement. As soon as the key starts to rise, it resets instantly, enabling extremely fast repeated commands (spamming) in competitive games. Additionally, it supports assigning multiple actions (up to 4) to a single press, depending on the depth of the press (e.g. light press for walking, deep press for running).
Triple Connectivity & 1000Hz Polling Rate
The circuit of the Q1 HE is powered by a powerful microcontroller (MCU) with ARM architecture and 256K Flash memory, which manages high-speed signal processing. In 2.4 GHz mode via the included receiver, as well as in wired USB Type-C connection, the keyboard achieves a polling rate of 1000 Hz, ensuring zero latency for e-sports level gaming performance. At the same time, it features Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connection with up to 3 devices simultaneously (PC, tablet, smartphone), offering flexibility for multitasking scenarios. Switching between modes is done instantly via a physical switch on the back.
6063 Aluminum Construction & Double-Gasket Design
The keyboard body is made entirely of 6063 aluminum, which has undergone CNC processing, polishing, anodizing, and sandblasting for a premium finish and durability. Internally, it adopts the Double-Gasket Mount design. Silicone gaskets are placed between the top and bottom parts of the case, isolating the support plate from the metal chassis. This structure significantly reduces acoustic resonance and metallic vibrations, offering a "softer" and more flexible typing experience with a cleaner sound profile.
Keychron Launcher & QMK Firmware
As an open-source platform, the Q1 HE fully supports QMK firmware, offering unlimited programming possibilities. Through the online Keychron Launcher application, users can access all magnetic switch settings without installing any software (bloatware). The interface allows precise adjustment of the actuation point, creation of complex macros, key remapping, and management of RGB lighting. The settings are stored directly in the keyboard’s built-in memory, making it independent of the operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux).
