Upgraded inside and out. The new acoustic architecture replaces the single tweeter
of the previous generation with two, unlocking a higher quality stereo soundstage. The precisely tuned woofer completes the listening experience with
dynamic bass.

The dual angled specially designed tweeters separate the high and vocal frequencies into left and right channels. The specially designed woofer delivers impressive bass both indoors and outdoors.

Each speaker is powered by a digital amplifier (3 Class D amplifiers). Using a special version of the TRUEPLAY room correction software (Auto-Trueplay), it continuously adjusts its operation for perfect performance in any open or closed space.

It features 6 built-in microphones (with a deactivation button, LED operation indicator, and advanced noise cancellation software) for voice control of the SONOS system, as well as other smart home devices, via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant (when connected to WiFi).

The direction and dispersion of frequencies are precisely controlled, creating a wider and more balanced sound. The updated touch buttons enhance your listening experience.

    I have a Sonos Roam and the Move 2. Both were purchased on sale, the first for €120 from Germanos and the second for €300 from Plaisio. First, I must say that the connection with the iOS mobile app is not "self-evident"; very often the app does not see the speakers and you need to refresh the network settings. Also, the sound of the Move 2 does not impress me. You would expect it to be more refined and have more options to adjust it (it only has bass & treble). Especially considering that it has a starting price of €500, no my friend, you expect something better. Unfortunately, these speakers are not available in store displays for you to hear them up close. Nor, of course, their equivalents. The fact that they have Wi-Fi is their strong point as you can play radio and forget about the connection with your mobile. Also, on the positive side, with one cable you can connect your amplifier to the Move 2 to listen to CDs, tapes, or anything you can't put on your mobile. For outdoor use, due to their strong volume and durability, they are very good! If I had bought the Move 2 for €500, I would be crying! The Roam I can say has satisfied me more for the job you want it to do.
