The board game Quartz: The Dice Game by Lucky Duck Games is a strategy game for 3–6 players featuring dice, crystals, and mining. Over six rounds, players explore the mine, mine crystals, and try to earn money by selling them in town at the end of the day.

On their turn, each player takes a crystal from the bag and places it on their cart. If it is unstable, they gain a reroll token. They then roll up to three times using the five dice: they use all five dice on the first roll, then may reroll as many as they like on subsequent rolls. Reroll tokens allow an additional roll. The results provide actions for mining extra crystals, stealing crystals, storing them in the chest, or passing unstable crystals to an opponent. Rolling more matching sides makes the corresponding action more effective.

At the end, players score points based on the value of their crystals, plus bonuses for sets of matching crystals. Each unstable crystal deducts 3 points from its owner, while the player with the fewest crystals in their chest loses 5 points.
