The LUNA test strips are a product of the latest technology. The strips are made with different layers containing electrodes placed according to an advanced process. A biological substrate – glucose oxidase – is located in the reaction zone of the strip through a high-precision dispenser.

Glucose oxidase is an enzyme that reacts with blood glucose in a specific way. During the reaction, a specific amount of current is produced, which is calculated into the glucose measurement result displayed on the screen.
