Description

Sophie Foster is a fugitive – at least she’s not alone. Her best friends from the Lost Cities have followed her to become members of the Black Swan. They still have doubts about the secret organization, but the only way to find answers is to work together with them.

As they adapt to their new life, they discover secrets far bigger than they ever imagined. However, enemies strike again, unleashing a terrifying epidemic that threatens the safety of an entire species.

Sophie and her friends fight with all their might – and with the help of new allies who join them – but every choice comes with its consequences. Trusting the wrong person could lead to death.

In this gripping fourth book of the series, Sophie must question everything to uncover the truth that will either save the world or tear it apart.

• The series already includes 9 books, has sold over 3.7 million copies worldwide, and has been awarded the California Young Reader Medal Award.

• A film adaptation is in the works by Disney, directed by Ben Affleck.

• Featured on the bestseller lists of the New York Times, USA TODAY, Publishers Weekly, and Wall Street Journal.

Kifi gave her his famous mischievous smile and smoothed his carefully tousled blond hair, but Sophie could see the sadness that darkened his deep blue eyes. When they came face to face with the Unseen, Kifi had discovered that one of their leaders was his mother. She had even gone so far as to attack her own son before fleeing to the ogre capital and abandoning her family. "Hey, don’t worry about me, Foster," Kifi said, waving his hand between them. He was one of the few Empaths who could sense Sophie’s feelings.

  • Very nice book. It's worth reading. However, it is the last Greek book in this series and the others have not been translated. I believe it would be preferable if we read the rest in the Greek language.

  • Well, it's the photo of the 2nd book, and it doesn't help much but it wouldn't let me comment if I didn't add a photo... Excellent quality of paper and cover, and it kept me hooked with its story. I read it in 4 days and now I'm reading the second one. I got a 7 in English because all the English versions of this series were sold out.... It was perfect! I can't wait for when stellarlune (10) will be officially released on skroutz! PERFECT!

  • Definitely recommended! It is engaging and keeps the interest of the young reader unchanged! It goes beyond the simple novel thanks to its unique plot. Vocabulary, imagination, connection of events... some of its positive elements.
