Melodika, one of the largest Polish manufacturers of hi-fi cables, expands its Purple Rain series offering with new power cables featuring grounded terminations with Schuko and IEC plugs.

What sets Melodika's new product apart is its shielding, which minimizes the effects of electromagnetic interference on other audio or video cables.

It is suitable for hi-fi applications as well as for medical, measuring, laboratory equipment, and other devices sensitive to electromagnetic influence.

• Construction: 3x2.5mm2 cable - 50 x 0.24mm, covered with a copper braid of at least 80%.
• Conductor: Polish oxygen-free copper OFC 99.99% (class 4N).
• Finishing with Schuko plug and IEC C13 socket (standard socket for most amplifiers).
• Geometry: Conductors twisted together, shielded cable, CE certified.
• Dielectric: 3 layers of PVC insulation, ideal for concealed installation in walls.
• Conductor resistance: (DC at 20°C): 4.37 Ohm/100m or less.
• Insulation resistance: >=1 G Ohm/km.
• Voltage test 1kV.
