The valve allows air to escape from the nipple as the baby sucks, so it naturally adapts to the oral cavity. The round, lightweight shield curves away from the face, allowing air to circulate and limiting contact with the skin around the mouth.
The pacifiers are made from rubber and polypropylene, and are free from BPA, PVC and phthalates. After cleaning and sterilisation, water may enter the nipple; remove any excess by squeezing it. They comply with the European Standard EN 1400+A2.
