I think it's awesome and this type of beach shading solution will dominate in the coming years. I've had it for one summer (2025).
- The biggest advantage:
It opens and closes in less than a minute and one person is enough, if there are two then it's even faster and easier.
- What about wind - gusts:
With the four bags in the corners filled with stones, it is quite stable and doesn't go anywhere, no matter how much you worry when the top part moves a lot. In strong gusts (Cyclades), what happens is that the four corners (bags) gradually move (a few centimeters each time), so from time to time you need to pull it back into place.
- How many people fit:
Without using the side cloth (it has 2 cloths, 1 for the long side and 1 for the short side) it doesn't provide a lot of shade since the top part is relatively much smaller than the base (the base is very large) and due to the sun's position the shade goes to the sides.
Of course, by putting on the two side cloths (creating an angle towards the sun), the shade is much larger and comfortably fits 4 people. We lounged up to 6 people relatively comfortably.
Of course, with the side cloths it is more sensitive to strong wind and moves gradually.
- The material (cloth) is very good in terms of sun radiation and provides good shade.
- I believe it is much better than the tents with poles and the bags that pull the cloth at the four corners, because it takes up as much space as 4-6 people would need, while the others with poles take up way too much space on the beach, to an excessive degree.
- I hope it is made from good materials and lasts me for years.
Νομίζω τα σπάει και τέτοιου είδους λύσεις σκίασης παραλίας θα κυριαρχήσουν τα επόμενα χρόνια. Την εχω ενα καλοκαίρι (2025).
- Το μεγαλύτερο πλεονέκτημα:
Ανοίγει - κλείνει σε λιγότερο από ενα λεπτό και αρκεί ενα άτομο, αν είναι δύο τότε ακόμα πιο γρήγορα κ εύκολα.
- Τι γίνεται με αέρα - ριπές:
Με γεμάτα απο πέτρες τα 4 τσουβαλακια που βρίσκονται στις τέσσερις γωνίες, είναι αρκετά σταθερή και δεν πάει πουθενά, όσο και να φοβάσαι οταν το πάνω μέρος κουνιέται αρκετά.
Στις μεγάλες ριπές (Κυκλάδες) αυτό που συμβαίνει είναι οτι μετακινούνται σιγά σιγά (μερικά εκατοστά κάθε φορά) οι 4 γωνίες (τσουβαλακια) οπότε που κ που χρειάζεται να την τραβάς πάλι στη θέση της.
- πόσα άτομα χωράει:
Χωρίς να βάλεις πλαϊνό πανί ( έχει 2 πανιά, 1 για τη μεγάλη πλευρά και 1 για τη μικρή πλευρά) δεν κάνει μεγάλη σκιά μίας κ το πάνω μέρος είναι σχετικά πολύ μικρότερο της βάσης (η βαση είναι πολύ μεγάλη) και λόγω της θέσης του ήλιου η σκιά πάει στα πλάγια.
Εννοείται πως βάζοντας τα δύο πλαϊνά πανιά (δημιουργώντας γωνία προς τη μερια που πέφτει ο ήλιος) η σκιά είναι πολύ μεγάλη και χωράνε άνετα 4 άτομα. Εμείς αράζαμε μέχρι 6 σχετικά άνετα.
Βέβαια με τα πλαϊνά πανιά είναι πιο ευαίσθητη στον δυνατό αέρα και μετακινείται σιγά σιγά.
- το υλικό (πανί) είναι πολύ καλό ως προς την ακτινοβολία του ήλιου και κάνει καλή σκιά.
- Πιστεύω οτι είναι πολύ καλύτερη από τις τέντες με τα κοντάρια και τα τσουβαλια που τραβάνε το πανί στις 4 γωνίες, επειδή πιάνει τόσο χώρο όσο το χώρο που θα χρειαζονταν 4-6 άτομα, ενω οι αλλες με τα κοντάρια πιάνουν παρά παρα πολύ χώρο στην παραλία, σε σημείο καταχρηστικό.
- Ελπίζω να είναι από καλά υλικά και να μου κρατήσει χρόνια.
