The ZCM-31 digital control clock is used for implementing time functions in automation and control systems. The activation/deactivation of the device is related to sunrise and sunset (civil dawn and dusk). The calculation of the time of sunrise and sunset uses information about the geographical coordinates of the clock's installation location, the current date, and the offset from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
The system calculates the end of civil twilight, which is the phase when the center of the solar disk is 6 degrees below the horizon. Additionally, the system features a programmable night break function and the ability to shift the calculated sunrise/sunset time by up to ±120 minutes.
The enclosure design allows the system to be mounted on a TH 35 rail and optionally sealed. The design guarantees the backup battery of all settings during a power outage.
