  • IP Rating: The first digit indicates protection against solid objects and the second indicates resistance to water.
  • First digit (protection against solid objects):
    • 0: No protection
    • 1: Protection against solid objects 50 mm and larger
    • 2: Protection against foreign bodies with a diameter of 12.5 mm and larger
    • 3: Protection against foreign bodies with a diameter of 2.5 mm and larger
    • 4: Protection against foreign bodies with a diameter of 1 mm and larger
    • 5: Protection against dust
    • 6: Dust-tight enclosure
  • Second digit (water protection):
    • 0: No protection
