The card features a JMicron chipset and supports the SATA 3.0 specification as well as other SATA technologies such as Hot-Plug, Native Command Queue (NCQ), TRIM, and Port Multiplier.

Installation is easy, without the need to install drivers across multiple operating system versions. Due to the low-profile bracket, the controller can be mounted in standard and low-profile PC cases.
