The managed power distribution units (PDU) from APC offer advanced, configurable management and measurement of power at the individual outlet level. Remote control of the outlets allows for the power on/off of devices for recovery in case of a blockage and restricts the use of individual outlets by unauthorized individuals.

The power on/off delay enables the setting of the order in which devices are powered on and off, avoiding circuit overload during activation and increasing the availability of critical devices.

Current measurement provides remote, real-time monitoring of connected loads. Managed rack PDUs offer real power monitoring, temperature/humidity sensor port, and IEC locking sockets.

User-defined alarms alert to potential circuit overloads. Users can access, configure, and control managed PDUs through secure web interfaces, SNMP, and Telnet.

These access methods are complemented by central management platforms based on InfraStruxure Central, Capacity Manager, and Change Manager.
