In the traditional canava of the Sigalas family, the Sigalas Estate winery was established in 1991. In 1998, it was moved to a privately owned location in the vineyard of Oia, where it still operates today.

In that same Canava, modernized and with a visitor-friendly design, Paris Sigalas creates his new winery, OENO P, aimed at continuing research and highlighting the great potential of this unique vineyard of Santorini. OENO P and the Sigalas Estate today create a strong synergy.

OENO P is designed for small production, 20,000 bottles per year, aiming for high quality and the expression of the complexity of the Santorini vineyard.

  • Tanks: amphorae of 750 and 1600 liters, so that each amphora corresponds to a selected vineyard.
  • Research project started in 2015 at the Sigalas Estate with the “Seven Villages” (Separate vinification of Assyrtiko from each village).
  • Press: traditional press from Champagne (a round press with a diameter of two meters), renowned for the delicacy it imparts to the must, a fundamental characteristic of Champagne.
