Laguiole, a small village in Aveyron, France, gave its name to the famous folding knife with a curved handle adorned with the legendary bee. Laguiole is not a brand of knives but a knife design that many producers create using different techniques and materials. Claude Dozorme was the first in France to put his name on filleting knives with a fixed, non-folding blade.
