One of the most common livestock animals worldwide, pigs have been domesticated since around 13,000 BC. The genus Sus includes many of the most well-known species of pigs, including the pig.

The form of the Large White Pig, also known as Large White Swine, is recognizable due to its size and white hairs, although the pink skin often shows through the thin fur that covers it.
