The STR-W controller, along with an external wind sensor, is designed to monitor the current wind speed. If the wind speed exceeds the predetermined threshold value, the internal relay will activate, allowing for the protection of shutters or awnings.

Operation

• Continuous operation: If the wind speed exceeds the set value, the internal relay contact closes and remains closed for the duration of the wind gusts. The speed adjustment range is from 30 km/h (position A) to 80 km/h (position B).
• Pulsed operation: In case of exceeding the set speed, the contact closes for approximately 1.5 seconds, sending a closing command to the shutter controllers. The adjustment range is from 20 km/h (position D) to 70 km/h (position C).
