Purchased when the battery of the previous Philips model broke down, which I had for many years. I think it's the only option with a long handle for the back.

Quite a good machine, you need to go over the area several times for it to completely cut the hairs and it is almost like a razor. You need to be a bit careful on more sensitive parts of the body because it can hurt you. It has 3 additional shaving levels. It charges quickly and depending on the areas you want to shave, it also drains the battery. Even if you want to cut the hair on your entire body, one charge is enough. I charge it on my computer because the package only contains the charging cable. It cleans easily. The foil from the razor can be easily damaged during cleaning. It is sensitive.

I left it charging all night and when I unplugged it to see if it works, it turned on normally. After a few days, when I went to use it for the first time, it showed that it was out of battery.
Also, there is no brick for the cable that plugs into the socket, keep that in mind

I would give five stars if it had a case. It does exactly what it advertises very well. Quality construction.

Quite good for its price. The only negative is that sometimes, when you remove the guards to shave, it sticks and pulls the slightly longer hairs.

I use it all the time and it hasn't needed charging since I bought it. I shave my head at least once a week

Very good, practical and the service can be done without help from anyone else. The only downside is that after two years the head broke and I couldn't find spare parts at an affordable price so I bought it again.

To trim, you have to go over the spot many times. Very expensive for the capabilities it lacks

The machine does not pull the hairs (this is a positive) and does not injure, even during quick passes. The problem is elsewhere: it does not cut effectively, and it requires many passes over the same spot, especially if the hairs are a bit denser or coarser.

The harder and slower you press it, the better it cuts, but still, there is always something left and you need to go over it again and again.

The attachment for the back seems like a good idea, but you never know if you have cleaned well, since you cannot see. It is somewhat ironic to have access to your entire back but to worry whether you need to go over it 5 or 15 times to be sure.

I do not know if there is a better option out there, but this one certainly did not satisfy me. It is not useless, just tiring to use and slow. If you expect a quick and effective result, it will not give it to you.

Overall, it is worth its money. There was some irritation, which went away after a few days, and I don't know if it was due to the shaver or my incorrect use. Additionally, it can sometimes get clogged or may need a second pass. However, I recommend it.

the worst machine I have ever used in my life. shame for the money I spent.
1) you need to go over several times to shave
2) it pinches - pulls hairs constantly
3) I have cut myself 2 times in the sensitive area - even though it is supposed to be designed for such use
4) it takes you quite a while to shave.
5) if the hairs are not short enough (e.g. unshaven for 2-4 days) it does not cut. you need another machine first with a guard, and then this one (even if you use it with its guard)

I do not recommend it.

Very good shaver, I use it only for the groin area. I have been using it once a week for a few months now and everything is fine. Only once did I happen to cut myself, and quite badly, but I was in a hurry and careless. Generally, the skin does not go between the blades, it takes effort to injure yourself. Battery is excellent, I charge it a little while before I use it and it has never shown low battery.

Very good construction from every aspect. Despite the hard and thick hair I have, it doesn't struggle. Also, it doesn't scratch at all even if you accidentally turn it diagonally. Its construction is very high quality and the battery lasts much longer than you need. If I could wish for something more, it would be a longer extension arm. For back and body in general, it is the best solution anyway for this money.

I bought the Philips Bodygroom Series 5000 hoping it would be a multifunctional tool for the whole body. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing, especially for the sensitive area. The product causes irritation and cuts, making it unsuitable for use on sensitive spots. Additionally, it is not effective for the face, as it cannot provide the desired shape to the ends of the beard. Overall, I would not recommend it for comprehensive body grooming.

To shave evenly, you have to tilt the machine so that the two blades catch the hairs, because the rollers once again prove to be useless and it takes several passes, but the positive thing is that it is gentle on the skin and does not irritate. Generally, it's an okay machine and cleans easily. Rating 3.5-4/5

I have used two machines my whole life for body shaving and both had the luck to be perfect. So one of the 2 is this one. A deep shave that even a razor would envy... and better basically because it doesn't irritate your skin. It is indeed waterproof as it says, but I don't prefer it that way. This is the 2nd time I buy the same one since the previous (same) one wore out, but it lasted many years so it paid for itself.

Excellent. It shaves deeply without pulling the hairs and irritating the skin. Nothing like the cheap ones I had before. The battery lasts a long time.

It seems to have a good sturdy construction and overall works better for the body than the others I have tried. The handle actually gives it excellent utility for the back. Having tried several (generally cheaper), I can say that there is none that is perfect. Especially at the sensitive points, it requires attention. It does the job a lot, but for cleaning, it does not replace a razor.

You struggle a bit on the back, but you eventually get the job done on your own.
I also tried it on my face, it shaves very well.
