Description

The Dell Alienware Tri-Mode AW920K is a wireless gaming mechanical keyboard that combines performance and modern design. It features Cherry MX Red switches, which provide speed and precise response, ideal for demanding gamers.

With RGB lighting, the keyboard offers various customization options, allowing you to create the perfect atmosphere during your gaming sessions. The illuminated keys make it easy to use even in low light, adding an extra dimension to your style.

The connection is made via USB, while the keyboard supports wireless operation, giving you more freedom of movement. The keyboard is full size, ensuring comfort and complete control.

The keyboard layout is in US English, making it ideal for gamers who prefer this language. The Dell Alienware AW920K combines the features of a professional gaming keyboard with the necessary quality and aesthetics demanded by gamers today.

Ultimate Freedom with Tri-Mode Connectivity

The AW920K offers you ultimate flexibility with three different connection methods. Use the wireless USB-C dongle 2.4GHz for lag-free gaming, connect up to three devices simultaneously via Bluetooth 5.1 for multitasking, or choose the classic wired option with the detachable USB paracord cable. Switching between devices is instant with the dedicated switch on the back of the keyboard.

Uncompromising Performance with Cherry MX Red

Equipped with the legendary CHERRY MX Red mechanical switches, the Alienware AW920K guarantees smooth, linear operation and instant response with every keystroke. With a lifespan of 100 million clicks, these switches are ideal for demanding gaming. At the same time, Full Anti-Ghosting and N-key rollover technologies ensure that every command is registered accurately, no matter how fast you type.

Durability and Premium Build Quality

Forget about key wear and fading. The AW920K features Double-shot PBT keycaps, made from two layers of material, where the characters are embedded within the key itself rather than printed on. This method offers exceptional durability and maintains the premium "Lunar Light" feel unchanged over time, even after thousands of hours of intense gaming.

Innovative Control and Magnetic Charging

Alienware introduces precision control with the programmable rotary dial and the rocker switch. Adjust the volume, brightness, or other parameters with a single motion. Charging is easier than ever with the Magnetic Snap-on system, allowing you to connect the cable magnetically without stopping your game, ensuring your battery never lets you down in the middle of a battle.

Long-lasting Battery Life and Low Battery Mode

With the AW920K you can play for days. With the RGB lighting turned off, the battery reaches 110 hours of operation. Even with AlienFX RGB at 50%, you enjoy 25 hours of continuous use. The keyboard features an intelligent Low Battery Mode that automatically activates at 15%, lowering the lighting to give you an extra 10 hours of life until the next charge.

Full Customization via Alienware Command Center

Immerse yourself in the AlienFX RGB experience with 16.8 million colors that synchronize with the action on your screen. Through the Alienware Command Center, you can create your own lighting themes, program macros, and assign commands to your keys. The AW920K is not just a tool, but an extension of your gaming personality, fully customizable to your needs.

This review is about the colour: White

At this price, I would expect something more premium. The spacebar is loose, unacceptable for this price, and the keys are made of thin plastic and feel hollow, definitely not fitting for a "premium" keyboard. Also, the magnetic holder for the 2.4Ghz dongle and the charging cable is completely inconvenient. I didn't understand why Alienware chose this solution and not a simple USB-C, which it already has anyway. Besides, this holder adds depth to the keyboard and won't be convenient for narrow desks.
Good plastic, good features, but for less money there are keyboards with a better feel.
Overall, it's a "tricky" keyboard. It's good, but by no means worth the money it asks for.
