This fiber is characterized by a reduced bending radius without an increase in attenuation. This is a very important feature when constructing an FTTx network due to the large number of turns in the direction of the optical line and because of the small size of cabinets and distribution boxes.
The Pigtail is mainly used for terminating customer cables at customer outlets and at the final distribution point.
