The hydratex WindBarrier® windproof membrane offers good breathability, while the windproof fabric behind the main zipper enhances wind protection. The jacket is not waterproof, but the inner membrane helps prevent water from being retained.

SEESMART CE-level 1 protectors are fitted at the shoulders and elbows, and there is a pocket for a SEESOFT CE-level 2-type RV back protector, which is not included. The fixed hood can be adjusted with drawstrings and secured with a button when not in use. Elasticated sections at the waist and wrists help ensure a good fit, while the connecting zipper and two loops at the back allow the jacket to be attached to trousers.
