It is hydrophilic, of excellent quality, 100% cotton with high surgical specifications, high absorption, and odorless. The gauze meets the requirements of the Greek and European Pharmacopoeia and is manufactured according to the harmonized standard EN 14079: 2003.

Specifically:

• It is completely white, odorless, free of adhesives, weaving defects, and chemical substances.
• It has barium-loaded radiopaque thread containing at least 45% barium sulfate woven along the gauze.
• The thread thickness is uniform throughout the weave.
• It is cut uniformly without frayed edges with a large internal fold and has a securely stitched safety cord.
• It is available in safe, practical, and user-friendly packaging (it is folded per 1 piece).

It carries a batch code and production date with indication of the quantity of pieces. It complies with the European and Greek pharmacopoeia and bears CE marking.
