The Cuvee Gerontampelo began with a vision for a robust and structured Assyrtiko with the necessary elegance added by French oak barrels. A carefully crafted wine that delivers the essence of "Gerontabelo," which means "old vine" in the local dialect of Santorini.
The first bottled vintage is 2020.
The grapes are meticulously selected from the oldest vineyards of the winery in Pyrgos, Megalochori, and Episkopi.
This distinctive wine pushes the Santorinian terroir to the limits and represents the culmination of synergy between the vineyard, the grower, the winemaker, and Santorinian tradition.
