The plug-in wattmeter is an essential tool for monitoring and controlling the electricity consumption of household appliances. Its use leads to significant resource savings, as it features an integrated converter that automatically calculates the operating cost of the connected equipment, after setting the price per kilowatt-hour (kWh). It is the ideal solution for those looking to reduce their electricity bills by identifying the most "power-hungry" devices in the home.
Functionality and Clarity
The device is equipped with a large display measuring 60x50mm, ensuring easy reading of data even when the meter is placed in hard-to-reach areas. To protect the devices and the installation, the wattmeter includes a overload alarm with a programmable maximum power limit. Its operation is simple and intuitive, thanks to the four central buttons (Up, Down, Cost, Function), and it also features a grounding pin for maximum safety.
Technical Measurements and Indicators
The meter provides a complete picture of electrical parameters with 1% accuracy. Specifically, it allows reading of the current consumption in Watts, voltage (V), network frequency (Hz), and power factor. Additionally, it records total energy in kWh, total operating time, and the corresponding cost. The display offers 8 different viewing modes, enabling the user to check everything from minimum and maximum power values to current in Amperes.
Specifications and Usage
The wattmeter supports a maximum load of 3680W (16A), making it suitable for almost all household appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, computers, kettles, and coffee makers. It has an integrated rechargeable Ni-Mh battery 3.6V to retain data and operates within temperatures from -10°C to +40°C.
Important Note: Before first use, the device must be reset by holding down the green button below the display for about 10 seconds.
