It arrived twice, from two different stores, with the edge bent. After contacting one of the stores, I found out that the manufacturer sends the pocket knives without packaging. That is, they are transported from France or wherever they are made, in bulk, with the result that the blade gets knocked against the wooden handle and bends.
Stay away from Opinel. Apparently they no longer care about their knives; otherwise they would put them in separate plastic packaging and not in a little bag, as if you were buying it from a street market. We are talking about a tragically low cost for something like this.
I asked for a refund and obviously I will look at another brand.
