The DCM200 20V MAX* XR® 18in Bandfile provides more power for tough applications. This power is controlled by a variable speed trigger and a speed setting dial. A pivoting arm allows the user to take full advantage of portability and flexibility and access hard-to-reach spaces.

Brushless Motor

Less wear, greater performance

The advantage that brushless motors have over brushed motors is that they do not have friction since they do not have brushes. Without brushes, the motors are more efficient and have a longer lifespan as there is no wear and tear (brushes in brushed motors wear out with use). They produce less noise, maintain their torque at all speeds, do not overheat, and do not require maintenance.
